Physical Therapist - Acute Care (Weekend Position) McMinnville
A premier healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. This position offers flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations.
Daily Responsibilities:
Review daily caseload and new overnight evaluations
Participate in 9:30am interdisciplinary team meetings with case managers, therapists, dietitians, hospitalists, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy
Collaborate on treatment planning, length of stay, and discharge coordination
Work with diverse patient populations including acute infections, neurological conditions, cardiac events, post-surgical care, orthopedics, and GI cases
Coordinate with outpatient PT team for caseload management
Flexible scheduling during low census periods with opportunities for additional hours
Patient Population:
Acute care setting
Diverse caseload including:
Neurological conditions
Cardiac events
Post-surgical care
Orthopedic cases
GI conditions
General mobility issues
Schedule Options:
Part-time: 24 hours/week (3 days, 8 hours/day)
Full-time positions available
Primary Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Alternative Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Flexible start times: 8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm
Compensation:
$40.85-$53.11 per hour (30% increase based on experience)
