Adecco Staffing is hiring for a Parts Counter and Receiving Clerk position, offering competitive pay between $19 and $24 per hour. This role supports warehouse operations, focusing on inventory management and assisting the parts counter at a shop location. Position Overview
The Parts Counter and Receiving Clerk will manage incoming and outgoing shipments of agricultural equipment, parts, and supplies while ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control. This role involves working with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain smooth workflows within the warehouse. The position reports directly to the Procurement Manager, and specific duties may vary based on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving Shipments: Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damages, verifying quantities against purchase orders or invoices. Report discrepancies or issues to the Procurement Manager for resolution.
- Inventory Management: Organize and label received items, allocate them to proper storage areas, and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Outgoing Shipments: Coordinate and prepare products for shipment or delivery by picking required items from inventory.
- Warehouse Organization: Maximize storage efficiency by properly storing items in designated areas and ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling/storage guidelines, especially for hazardous materials.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, receipts, and shipments, ensuring all paperwork is properly completed and filed.
- Parts Counter Support: Assist with inventory control, process orders, and provide technicians and customers with parts and supplies as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory systems and material handling equipment operation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Forklift exp is a plus
Pay Details: $19.00 to $24.00 per hour
