Medical Support Specialist - Paramedic, EMT-P, AEMT, or EMT-I

Location: Milwaukee, WI - 53225
Employment Type: Direct-Hire, Permanent
Setting: Plasma Center
Pay: Up to $29/hour + $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
Shifts: Full-Time (30-40 hrs); 4x10s, 5x8s, 4x8s, or 4x9s; 2nd/3rd weekend

Center Hours:
Mon: 11am-7pm | Tues-Thurs: 6am-7pm
Fri: 6am-6pm | Sat: 9am-5pm | Sun: 7am-3pm

Qualifications:
- Required: Paramedic or EMT-P, AEMT, or EMT-I license/certification, BLS & CPR (Adult & Pediatric)
- Preferred: Plasma knowledge & venipuncture skills (training provided)

Key Duties:
- Assess donor eligibility (medical history, physical exams, SPE review)
- Handle donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs
- Collaborate with the Center Physician for guidance and approvals
- Oversee Hepatitis B/Seasonal Flu vaccination programs
- Support pandemic-related investigations when needed
