Location: Rockville, MD
Pay Rate: $28.00/hour
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 8-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch; potential for overtime
Assignment Type: Temporary

Position Overview
Adecco is seeking a Materials Technician to support various material management tasks, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and operating material handling equipment. This position requires adherence to safety and quality standards, with opportunities for overtime based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize materials.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete assigned tasks.

  • Monitor and report critical equipment alarms to management.

  • Handle shipping and receiving processes, including quarantine of cGMP raw materials in SAP per quality standards.

  • Perform non-GMP delivery duties as assigned and ensure inventory accuracy through periodic checks and cycle counts.

  • Execute Warehouse & Distribution schedules for timely delivery of controlled materials to manufacturing areas.

  • Participate in controlled-rate freeze processes using specialized equipment.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Must-Have:

    • Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).

    • Knowledge of SOPs, shipping, and receiving processes.

    • Familiarity with cGMP standards for raw materials.

    • Proficiency in SAP for inventory management.

  • Preferred:

    • Forklift certification and valid driver’s license with a clean record.

    • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).

    • Good communication skills and ability to work in a physically demanding environment (stooping, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs).

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus.

Pay Details: $28.00 per hour
