Manufacturing Supervisor – Aerospace – Needed Immediately in Portland, CT
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm
Location: Portland, CT
Salary: $80K - $100K+ (based on experience)

Join our innovative aerospace company, known for pushing the boundaries of technology and quality in the industry. We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our talented team and uphold our rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and schedule operations across CNC, Polish, Inspection, and Cutter Grind departments to ensure quality, timely delivery, and profitability.
Oversee daily production processes, including job pre-kitting and adherence to production schedules set by the Manufacturing Manager.
Actively participate in setup reduction programs to
Provide coaching, development, and training to shop floor employees to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Conduct quality clinics to ensure adherence to stringent quality standards and monitor employee performance to evaluate effectiveness and enhance operational efficiency.
Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and lead Kaizen activities to optimize processes.
Resolve employee issues, maintaining a productive and supportive work environment, while collaborating with HR when necessary.
Review timecards, track absenteeism, and handle daily shop floor employee concerns. Conduct bi-annual performance appraisals and assist in recruiting new talent for the shop floor as needed.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Aerospace or a similar industry.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years in a supervisory role with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
Strong leadership & communication skills, ability to think strategically, and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $101,000.00 per year
