Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with a strong background in corporate and transactional law to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing vital support to our attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys specializing in corporate and transactional law.
- Draft, review, and format legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
- Organize and maintain case files and documents, both electronically and physically.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and deadlines for corporate transactions and client matters.
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Assist with due diligence, corporate governance, and compliance tasks.
- Prepare and file necessary documents with regulatory bodies and courts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in corporate or transactional law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software (e.g., Clio, PracticePanther).
- Strong understanding of corporate structures and legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Pay Details: $19.50 per hour
