We are seeking a self-motivated Junior Engineer with strong detail-oriented skills and 3D CAD design experience to join our internationally acclaimed team. This individual will work closely with our Engineering Manager and engineering team on-site in the Glens Falls, New York area to support development of new and existing products, provide technical product support, and assist in production of our high-performance valve products.
The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, and goal-oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This individual needs to initiate and stimulate cooperation within a team, and maintain excellent organization, coordination, and time management skills. They must have the ability to problem-solve and work with others to reach a resolution.

The Junior Engineer will work closely with sales, manufacturing, and our marketing team to help design and deliver high-quality valves built to last.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical product support to Customer Service and Production
- Collaborate with design team on the development of innovative product designs
- Create concept designs and assemblies of various products utilizing CAD
- Perform form, fit, and function to ensure designs meet all established requirements
- Finalize production drawings; product and component designs to initialize new projects
- Follow technical project plans
- Plan, design and test prototypes for various applications
- Develop solutions to improve processes like manufacturing, production and assembly
- Prepare technical reports related to product failure analysis and test data results
- Revise and maintain production documentation
- Develop and maintain technical publications
- Design engineering experiments
- Evaluate and test the structural integrity of parts and components
- Conduct verification and validation testing of various products
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Possesses strong communication skills and a strong work ethic (including accountability, integrity, enthusiasm, and motivation).
- Minimum associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
- Familiarity with mechanical engineering fundamentals and machining processes (in a metals manufacturing environment)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred experience with SolidWorks
- SolidWorks Flow Simulation, Simulation, Visualize, or Composer experience a plus
- Fluid Dynamics experience a plus
