Adecco Healthcare is searching for an Internal Medicine Physician to become part of our client's team in Los Angeles, CA - 90037. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.

Pay
- $270,000 to $300,000
Shift
- Monday-Friday (8am-5pm) & every other Saturday (7am-3:30pm)
- Will have Friday off when working on Saturday
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- CA Medical License
- DEA Certificate
- Internal Medicine or Med+Peds Residency graduate
- Board Certification/Eligibility
- Endocrinology Fellowship completion and Board Certification/Eligibility
- eClinicalWorks or similar EMR/EHR experience
- Basic computer skills
- BLS Certifications
- Open to serving the underserved communities
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Job Summary
- Review patient records, including allergies, medical conditions, medications, and immunization status.
- Gather and document patient medical histories.
- Conduct appropriate physical examinations.
- Order or perform diagnostic tests, analyses, and imaging based on the patient's condition.
- Interpret test results and exam findings to make accurate diagnoses.
- Administer or prescribe treatments as necessary.
- Prescribe medications, determining appropriate dosage and schedule based on the patient's condition and allergies.
- Discuss potential side effects of medications or immunizations with the patient.
- Administer vaccinations to protect against communicable diseases.
- Promote health by advising patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Perform procedures aligned with training and expertise.
- Refer patients to medical specialists when necessary.
- Document the visit, including medical history, physical exam, diagnoses, and treatment plan.
- Provide follow-up care for high-risk or emergency cases.
- Assist with triage and treatment services during disasters according to protocol.
Additional Information
- Travel may be required until clinics are fully staffed.
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.66 per mile.
