Adecco Medical is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Intake Nurse to join us in delivering high-quality patient care where we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services in a warm and welcoming environment.
**Job Summary:**
As an Intake Nurse, you will play a vital role in our facility by conducting patient intakes, performing administrative duties, and ensuring a comforting environment for our patients. Your expertise in patient care, excellent communication skills, and compassionate demeanor will contribute to a positive patient experience from the moment they arrive.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet and welcome patients upon arrival, creating a warm and comforting environment
- Conduct patient intakes, including gathering medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information
- Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and verifying insurance information
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, treatments, and follow-up care as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient care environment
- Perform venipuncture and other basic medical procedures as necessary (venipuncture experience is a plus)
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA regulations at all times
**Requirements:**
- Active RN or LPN license or EMT-P certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience in patient care, intake procedures, and administrative duties within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay Details: $23.00 to $33.00 per hour
