Adecco Healthcare is searching for an Infection Control Nurse to become part of our client's team in Newark, NJ - 07103. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.
Pay
Up to $53 an hour.
Shift
- Must be flexible to work core hours.
- May need to work weekends or evenings depending on need.
- No on-call.
Job Summary/Duties
- Examine existing policies.
- Revise and modernize protocols.
- Oversee and verify adherence to all infection prevention measures.
- Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive infection control program in line with current standards.
- Guarantee compliance with up-to-date CDC, OSHA, and local health regulations.
- Uphold effective infection control practices and sterile procedures to address problem areas.
Qualifications
Required:
- RN License.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Infection control experience in long-term care setting.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience, 1 year must be in long-term care.
- Experience with long-term care rules and regulations.
- Experience dealing with both state and federal regulations.
- Very knowledgeable of COVID and infection control expert; COVID vaccinated.
Preferred:
- BS degree.
- APIC certification in infection prevention and control.
