Adecco is seeking a skilled and reliable Test Technician to join our client’s team in Ballston Spa NY. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tests and evaluations on products to ensure quality and performance standards are met. You will work closely with technical staff to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products, apply now!


Responsibilities for the Test Technician role include but are not limited to: 

  • Perform testing of products and systems according to established protocols and standards.

  • Accurately document test results, procedures, and discrepancies using appropriate software and tools.

  • Assist in the development and improvement of testing methodologies and procedures.

  • Identify and troubleshoot defects or deviations, collaborating with engineers to propose solutions.

  • Maintain testing equipment and laboratory instruments, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized testing environment.

  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a test technician or in a related role in a manufacturing or technical environment.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and quality assurance principles.

  • Proficient in using testing equipment and software (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, data acquisition systems).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey testing procedures and results.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).

  • Experience in electronics, aerospace, and or automotive.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques.

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
