Your Role:

As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing high-quality agricultural and turf equipment. You will:

  • Perform Diagnostics and Repairs: Work on John Deere equipment and technology with minimal supervision.

  • Support Customer Clinics: Provide expert advice and support in customer clinics.

  • Field Work: Handle diagnostics and repairs in various locations as needed.

  • Documentation: Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and billable time.

  • Training: Participate in Service EDUCATE programs to enhance your skills.

  • Maintain Equipment: Keep vehicles, tools, and work areas in excellent condition.

  • Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with John Deere and competitive products.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven track record in service repairs and meeting performance metrics.

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of off-road, construction, or heavy equipment.

  • Diagnostic Tools: Familiarity with Service ADVISOR or similar diagnostic tools is a plus.

  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Tools: Adequate personal toolset to perform job responsibilities.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
