Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Location: Lewes, DE - 19958
Employment Type: Direct-Hire, Permanent 
Setting: Hospital - Radiology
Pay: $31.83-$49.34/hr (begins at $66,206.40+/yr)
Shift: Night, Mon-Thu, 7pm-5:30am

Qualifications:
- AART (CT) Certification
- DE license to practice Radiologic Technology
- Associate's Degree
- 1 year of CT experience preferred
- BLS

Key Duties:
- Performs CT and radiographic procedures following established protocols, ensuring technical quality and proper anatomy demonstration.
- Prepares and administers contrast media, evaluates lab values, and maintains aseptic technique while being IV competent.
- Operates all radiographic and CT equipment, completes quality control procedures, and communicates equipment issues to supervisors.
- Follows radiation safety guidelines, verifies patient identity using two forms of identification, and consults with radiologists as needed.
- Supports departmental operations through inventory management, documentation of follow-up procedures, and ensuring compliance with standards.
