Adecco is currently assisting the Adair County Youth Development Center in their search to fill a Cook position Columbia, KY. This is a long-term possible temp to hire opportunity. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing items for clients to enjoy. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Schedule may vary and may include weekends. Pay will be $14.39 an hr.
Responsibilities for this Cook position include:
Prepares food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner
Determines food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours
Prepares all special dietary need as directed
Monitors all food items to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are always upheld
Ensures the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated by standardized recipes
Tastes and prepares food to determine quality
Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
Assists with orientation and training of new kitchen employees
Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures
Attends all in-services as required
Follows all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling
Assists with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Flexibility with work schedule, weekends may be included
Ability to work alone and in teams
Successful completion of recognized food safety course preferred
Excellent attendance record

Pay Details: $14.39 per hour
