Adecco is looking for a Buyer in Fremont, CA! Experience purchasing semiconductor parts and materials required.

The Sourcing Buyer will collaborate with business partners to manage procurement needs and deliver best-in-class sourcing solutions. This role will lead sourcing negotiations, bidding processes, and vendor management, ensuring equitable award analysis and overseeing the implementation of purchase agreements. As the primary contact for all sourcing and procurement activities, the Sourcing Buyer will also provide guidance on processes, training, and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and negotiate component deliveries with suppliers and manufacturers.

  • Generate purchase orders and inventory reports for management.

  • Address and resolve tactical supply chain issues.

  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure timely deliveries based on demand.

  • Develop and maintain accurate systems for monitoring purchase orders.

  • Analyze consumption and shipment trends to forecast demand, and recommend appropriate inventory levels.

  • Evaluate demand and supply scenarios to ensure alignment with monthly and quarterly shipment targets.

  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including Supply Planning, NPI, Production, and Procurement, to ensure forecast accuracy and inventory strategies.

  • Track supply availability and provide updates throughout the product life cycle.

  • Communicate regularly with relevant teams to ensure timely information sharing and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in mechanical and electro-mechanical components, with knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as forging, stamping, CNC machining, welding, and more.

  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement within the semiconductor industry, or experience in related areas such as EP cleaning, anodizing, plating, or passivation.

  • Background in production control, material demand planning, or supply chain management.

  • Strong communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Manufacturing.

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Experience in the semiconductor equipment industry, with companies such as Applied Materials (AMAT), Lam Research (LRCX), ASMI, KLA, Micron, Intel, TSMC, Global Foundry, TI, UCT, Ichor, or similar contract manufacturers.



Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
