We are searching for Direct Hire Blenders for a Manufacturing facility near Robinson Township, PA.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Physical demands and work environment:
Position works primarily Monday through Thursday (4, 10-hour shifts) with occasionally working on Friday instead of Monday. May require occasional weekend work.
$17-21/hr, must be able to pass a blending certification for the higher range
1st shift 5am-3:15pm

Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour

Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Assist in the blending department area of Production.
- Accurately weigh raw materials using scales and measuring tools to ensure compliance with formulation requirements.
- Blend raw materials according to master production formulas, ensuring uniformity and quality of the mix.
- Calibrate and maintain weighing and blending equipment to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency.
- Record and document batch production details, including weights, measures, and batch numbers, for traceability and quality control purposes.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for weighing and blending tasks, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to actively listen and follow instructions.
- Monitor work area for cleanliness and safety.
- Identify and troubleshoot any discrepancies or issues in raw material quality, weight, or blend consistency, reporting these to the supervisor for corrective action.
- Stop production and identify quality issues to a lead or supervisor immediately when they are identified.
- Perform additional duties as needed within the scope of this position.
Physical demands and work environment:
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, see, hear, speak, for extended periods of time, and ability to climb up and down a ladder.
- Proficient in English, reading, writing, and speaking.
- Requires weighing and measuring ingredients.
- Work involves exposure to known allergens.
- Requires exposure to temperature extremes and exposure to outside weather conditions from open dock doors, dirt, dust, fumes, chemicals, etc.
- Requires exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
- Position requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear, which may include use of respirator.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to operate a forklift or learn how to.
