Airport Warehouse Logistics Associate

Location: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac)

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $22.28 per hour


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Associate to join our team at SeaTac Airport. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our air logistics processes. You will be responsible for scanning, labeling, and sorting cargo; loading and unloading shipments from aircraft; transporting packages between the warehouse and aircraft; completing necessary documentation; and maintaining the security of our facility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Scanning, Labeling, and Sorting: Utilize electronic scanning devices to capture information from barcodes or QR codes, apply labels to packages, and sort items based on predefined categories.

  • Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload cargo from aircraft and other transportation vehicles, ensuring the safety and integrity of the freight.

  • Transporting Packages: Operate warehouse vehicles to transport packages between the warehouse and aircraft while adhering to all safety protocols.

  • Physical Handling of Freight: Manually lift, carry, push, or pull goods as needed, maintaining a strong focus on safety and ergonomic practices.

  • Forms Completion: Accurately complete necessary paperwork related to cargo and shipping activities.

  • Routine Cleaning and Security Monitoring: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment and monitor security protocols to ensure the safety of all personnel and cargo.


Skill Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • Experience with scanning, labeling, and sorting items.

  • Proficiency in loading and unloading cargo.

  • Ability to transport packages safely and efficiently.

  • Strong physical handling skills for freight operations.

  • Capability to complete necessary forms accurately.

Preferred:

  • Ability to judge distances effectively.

  • Strong communication skills for successful interactions with team members and supervisors.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or related field preferred.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate warehouse vehicles.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Pay Details: $22.28 per hour
