Job Summary:
We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to support our onshoring team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our financial operations, assisting with month-end close activities, analyzing entity mismatches, and collaborating with various teams to launch complex onshoring structures. This role requires a deep understanding of funds flow, journal entry flow, new product launches, M&A projects, and other potential business model changes. The Senior Accountant will also create and test rule changes in our systems, assist with ongoing process streamlining projects and perform reviews of journal entries and intercompany account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support month-end close activities from BD1 to BD5.
Perform analysis for entity mismatches and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with revenue, revenue payments, cash, and local compliance teams to launch complex onshoring structures and new products.
Support M&A-related projects if a payment on behalf and collection on behalf set-up is needed.
Create rule changes/enhancements in the system to support onshoring projects and other business model changes.
Perform testing before launching any new rules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Assist with ongoing process streamlining projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Review and provide feedback on processes to ensure continuous improvement.
Perform first-level review of journal entries prepared by offshore resources.
Review the reconciliation of intercompany accounts prepared by offshore resources.
Support the realized FX flux analysis and provide insights for financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close, financial analysis, and system enhancements.
Strong understanding of funds flow, journal entry flow, and onshoring structures.
Data driven, highly skilled in Excel is preferred.
Experience with new product launches and M&A projects is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with Oracle & HFM is preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Pay Details: $56.25 per hour
