We’re looking for a solid and motivated Automotive MECHANIC to join our team in either Milwaukee or Waukesha. If you have a passion for cars/trucks and a strong track record in automotive repair especially transmissions/engine repairs/rebuilds, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose automotive issues based on customer feedback, system inspections, diagnostic reports, and research.
- Perform repairs on automotive problems and engine failures.
- Prevent future issues by conducting preventative maintenance, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, and replacing worn parts.
- Conduct test drives to verify vehicle serviceability and adjust as needed.
- Keep detailed records of service repairs, parts used, and components replaced.
- Maintain inventory, ensure the availability of supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Adhere to all safety standards, keeping the work environment safe, secure, and healthy.
- Stay current with industry trends by attending training sessions and reading technical publications.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- MUST have your own tools
- At least 3 years of experience as a MECHANIC in repairs or rebuilds of TRANSMISSIONS AND OR ENGINES
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally
