Sea Export Manager

【Client Description】

• Services include ocean and air freight, supply chain management, parcel express, road transportation, industrial projects, and reverse logistics.

【Education/Experience】

• Bachelor’s degree or above/highe; a qualification in logistics or related field is preferred.
• At least 7 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or related industries, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Possesses consolidation experience and strong operational ability.
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

【Job Responsibilities】

• Ensure compliance with operational procedures by team members; execute and verify correct processing of documents and billing, and timely handover to accounts.
• Conduct inspections as needed, document and report any non-conformities, and raise suggestions for process improvement to management.
• Stay updated on relevant legislation, political situations, or other factors that may affect freight transport.
• Evaluate and manage the service performance of delivery/collection subcontractors and report to department head.
• Coordinate export transportation activities and follow up on routing orders and project shipments.
• Maintain effective communication with sales, customer service, shippers, and forwarders to resolve shipping issues and ensure positive customer experience and accurate delivery.
• Analyze and report on freight costs, performance metrics, and delivery outcomes to identify trends, improvements, and cost saving opportunities.
• Manage team scheduling, set goals, assess performance, develop employee skills, and ensure effective information dissemination.
• Proactively participate in business excellence programs and company projects, driving process optimization and innovation.
• Serve as key user for Cargo Wise and other systems, supporting digital management.
