Legal (Associate) Director

For a clinical-stage biotechnology company headquartered in Taipei, we are seeking an (Associate) Director of Legal to join. This role involves providing a diverse range of legal services with discretion and professionalism. The company is dedicated to developing innovative therapies in oncology and autoimmune diseases using proprietary technology platforms.

【Candidate Profile】

• Law degree from a reputable university is required
• Minimum 6 years of legal practice experience in biotechnology or life sciences
• Ability to draft, negotiate, and manage complex scientific and commercial agreements
• Strong contract management skills and experience with contract management systems
• Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English with strong communication skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to research, development, and commercial operations. This position requires a strong legal background, particularly in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, and offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking therapeutic advancements

• Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements with domestic and international parties
• Provide legal advice on contract matters, including compliance and enforcement
• Manage general corporate matters, including securities compliance and regulatory issues
• Support patent application, analysis, enforcement, and licensing as needed
• Resolve legal and compliance issues with competent negotiation skills
