【Position Description】

  • This role is responsible for shaping and delivering clear, credible, and consistent communication strategies that support corporate reputation, brand objectives, and disease-area priorities.
  • The incumbent will lead integrated internal and external communications initiatives, strengthen relationships with media and key stakeholders, and ensure the organization’s messages are aligned with global standards, local regulations, and business strategies.

【Qualifications】

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, or healthcare/pharmaceutical communications.
  • Solid experience in communications strategy development, project management, and agency collaboration.
  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Proven capability in media relations and stakeholder engagement.
  • High proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

【Preferred Attributes】

  • Experience working in a multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare organization.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards governing pharmaceutical communications.
  • Experience supporting disease awareness or patient education campaigns.
  • Prior exposure to crisis or issues management in a regulated industry.

【Responsibilities】

Strategic Communications & Brand Positioning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies for product launches, disease awareness campaigns, corporate initiatives, and key events, with clear ownership of budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant messaging across all owned, earned, and shared communication channels to enhance brand equity and corporate reputation.
  • Support long-term disease education and treatment awareness initiatives to maintain sustained visibility and public understanding of priority therapeutic areas.

Media Relations & External Engagement

  • Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and opinion leaders to secure high-quality, positive media exposure.
  • Plan and oversee press activities, including media briefings, interviews, press releases, and background materials.
  • Collaborate with external partners, agencies, patient organizations, and advocacy groups to ensure timely, aligned, and effective information dissemination.

Internal Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure communication activities are accurate, ethical, and aligned with internal policies and local regulations.
  • Translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging for non-scientific stakeholders.
  • Contribute to internal communications initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and alignment with corporate values.

Issues & Crisis Communications

  • Prepare and execute crisis communication plans, including issue monitoring, risk assessment, message development, and response coordination.
  • Act as a key communications advisor during sensitive or high-risk situations to minimize reputational impact and ensure consistent messaging.

Performance Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Analyze outcomes, report insights, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance future communication strategies.
