Airfreight Director

【Client Description】

• Services include ocean and air freight, supply chain management, parcel express, road transportation, industrial projects, and reverse logistics.

【Education/Experience】

• University education or equivalent.
• Needs preferably 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in local language, as well as English (read, spoken and written), and other language helpful in daily business.
• In depth knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry.

【Job Responsibilities】

• Drive the Airfreight strategy aligned with regional business goals and market trends.
• Turn strategy into actionable annual business plans and budgets.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives and ensure world-class service standards.
• Launch and manage new products and services tailored to local needs.
• Maintain and improve quality systems (ISO, GDP, CEIV) and compliance.
• Conduct audits, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines and suppliers; negotiate rates.
• Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions to ensure profitability.
• Manage reporting and performance analysis to support business decisions.
• Lead, motivate, and develop your team; drive performance and growth.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify development opportunities.
• Communicate strategy and results clearly, fostering open dialogue.
• Ensure effective execution of training programs with HR support.
