【Qualifications】

  • Thai native speaker
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in automotive chassis, suspension, casting parts design, or structural design within R&D or engineering centers
  • Good command in English
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (CATIA preferred).
  • Ability to lead both Solid and Surface modeling depending on part geometry.
  • Advanced ability to interpret 2D drawings, GD&T, section views, tolerance stack-up, and mechanical design fundamentals.

【Responsibilities】

  • Lead 3D CAD design (Solid/Surface) and manage 2D drawings
  • Design and modify chassis structural parts, including suspension arms, knuckles, brackets, mounting parts, and other load-bearing components
  • Ensure design robustness considering strength, manufacturability, NVH, and vehicle performance
  • Review and guide junior engineers on CAD models and drawings
  • Drive engineering discussions with HRAP and internal teams to propose optimal design solutions
  • Evaluate design feasibility, perform design reviews, and identify risks early in the development cycle
  • Develop and refine design standards, manuals, and process documentation
  • Collaborate with CAE engineers to define load conditions, boundary settings, and mesh preparation
  • Validate CAE results and make technical decisions on design modifications
  • Act as a technical bridge between on-site HRAP team and off-site design team
  • Translate on-site development information into actionable design inputs and standardized processes
  • Support project progress, quality control, and schedule adherence
  • Communicate with teams in Thailand and Japan to ensure design alignment and resolve issues
  • Present design concepts, review outputs, and support decision-making with technical justification
  • Mentor and train junior engineers in CAD, chassis engineering, and automotive design principles
  • Lead initiatives for efficiency improvement, process optimization, and quality enhancement
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
