Program Department Manager

Our client is seeking a results-driven Program Department Manager to lead customer programs end-to-end within a fast-paced Electronics Manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, technical understanding, and leadership capability to ensure excellence in Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) while building long-term customer partnerships. You will play a critical role in aligning customer expectations with operational execution and driving sustainable business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 8–12 years of experience in Electronics, EMS, including 5+ years in program or account management
• Proven exposure to NPI, mass production, and global customers (US/EU preferred)
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and manage customer expectations
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting RFQ/RFI and new program discussions
• Ability to identify upsell, cross-sell, or scope expansion opportunities
• Exposure to business transfer, manufacturing footprint expansion, or technology roadmap initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

• Own assigned customer programs across the full lifecycle (NPI → Mass Production → End-of-Life)
• Serve as the primary customer interface and escalation point
• Act as a technical-commercial bridge between customers, Sales, and manufacturing teams
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with QA, SCM, Engineering, Production, and Finance
• Drive resolution of quality, delivery, and cost challenges with a proactive approach
• Manage commercial risks, margins, and cost structures while balancing QCD priorities
• Review contracts, identify potential risks (E&O, NCNR, MOQ), and recommend solutions
• Apply a global mindset while executing effectively within local operations
