We are partnering with a leading global automotive components manufacturer to appoint an exceptional Head of Sales & Business Development to drive commercial expansion

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 15 years in the automotive industry.
  • Strong background in Product Engineering, Process Engineering, or Purchasing.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Expertise in Cost Analysis, RFQ processes, and commercial program management.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy, lead high-performing commercial teams, and manage organizational change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and execute regional commercial strategies to grow market.
  • Drive market penetration and secure high-value order intakes aligned with profitability goals.
  • Build a robust pipeline focused on Automotive.
  • Identify new markets, untapped customer segments, and emerging opportunities.
  • Increase market share through targeted business development initiatives and competitive positioning.
  • Utilize market data, technology trends, and competitor insights to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to transform customer requirements into winning proposals.
  • Lead, coach, and elevate a high-performing team of Sales, Key Account Managers, and Business Development professionals.
  • Strengthen organizational capability through performance management and effective team structure.
