Compliance & Data Privacy Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and continuously enhance the company’s corporate compliance and data privacy framework, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and regulations
• Drive a strong culture of compliance through awareness programs, training, communications, and engagement initiatives across the organization
• Oversee and manage compliance governance activities, including policies, procedures, due diligence, approvals, monitoring, and special compliance projects
• Provide expert advice on complex compliance and data privacy matters, including risk assessments, investigations, and remediation actions
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices, assessing their impact and translating requirements into practical business solutions
• Act as the company’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring PDPA compliance, managing data privacy risks, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory interactions
• Manage compliance service providers and mentor junior resources, ensuring effective delivery of compliance activities at optimal cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 8-10 years of experience in compliance within multinational or large organizations
• Solid understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and data privacy laws; experience acting as DPO is a strong advantage
• Strong business acumen with the ability to provide practical, risk-based advice on complex issues
• Proven ability to interpret regulations and implement effective policies and processes
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and investigation skills
• High ethical standards, strong confidentiality, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills in Thai and English
