The Key Account Specialist is responsible for building, strengthening, and expanding long-term partnerships with strategic customers. The position focuses on delivering high-quality service and customized solutions to meet each account’s specific needs, thereby enhancing customer experience and loyalty.

The Opportunity

·       Opportunity to take ownership of strategic key accounts, partner closely with retailers to drive sustainable business growth, and position yourself as a trusted advisor by shaping account strategies and delivering impactful, data-driven solutions in a dynamic FMCG environment.


The Talent

·       Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Marketing or equivalent qualification.

·       5–7 years of experience in account management, sales or field trade marketing

·       Experience in modern trade within FMCG industry is a bonus

·       Strong understanding of account management, POSM, and marketing practices within the FMCG industry is preferred

·       Fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong PowerPoint presentation skills


The Job

·       Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key retailers through proactive engagement and issue resolution

·       Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to maximize account potential

·       Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions aligned with customer objectives

·       Lead contract renewals and commercial negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes

·       Act as the main escalation point for complex issues, resolving challenges in a timely and strategic manner

·       Develop and execute data-driven account plans to drive revenue growth

·       Use sales data, market trends, and shopper insights to recommend initiatives that improve category performance

·       Provide customers with market and competitive insights, positioning yourself as a trusted business partner

·       Track account performance, including sales growth, market share, and ROI of trade activities

·       Proactively manage risks and adapt strategies in response to changing market conditions
