Adecco is partnering with a world leader in industrial gases, technologies and services for industry.

Job Description:

• Assist in performing comprehensive testing and commissioning of new gas equipment and systems to ensure they meet operational specifications and safety standards.

• Execute system checks and functional tests for proper operation of all components, including valves, sensors, and controllers.

• Conduct SCADA and GMS (Gas Monitoring System) testing.

• Verify that all monitoring points, alarms, and control functions are accurately integrated and reporting correctly to the central control system.

• Review and verify the Bill of Materials for new equipment installations and maintenance activities.

• Ensure that all components and materials match the approved design and are correctly ordered and delivered.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures and performance issues in a timely manner.

• Perform component replacement for faulty parts, including valves, regulators, sensors, and controllers, following established procedures and safety protocols.

• Assist the project engineer with any activities involving contractors on and off-site, related to gas equipment.

• Coordinate work schedules, ensure work is performed safely and according to specifications, and verify the quality of work upon completion.

Assist the project engineer in the formal handover of completed equipment and systems to the end-user or operations team.

• Assist the project engineer in on-site support for parts replacement/ modifications and support whenever necessary.

•Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

• Generate service reports on equipment status, performance, and any issues encountered.

• Able to work independently and less supervision required.

• Willing to work late or during weekends when required.

• Attend Toolbox meetings with safety officers onsite and maintain records.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec or Diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).

• With experience in piping installation, Equipment installation, pipe routing.

• Experience with SCADA and Gas Monitoring Systems would be an added advantage.
