Equipment Maintenance Technician

Leading global producer of semiconductor

·      0-3 years of relevant experience (semicon/manufacturing preferred), training provided

·      Able to work with hand tools, lift up to 10–15 kg occasionally, and stand for extended periods (cleanroom environment).

·      Minimum O Levels

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious technician who is good at hands-on job to perform preventive maintenance on the machine in a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment.

The primary task involves remove and install consumable parts in the machine, and polishing head transport within the premise

·      Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.

·      Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.

·      Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.

·      Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.

·      May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
