Compliance Officer Data Protection

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Compliance Officer to support APAC operations in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Data Protection, and ESG compliance. The role will act as the key point of contact for regulatory requirements, internal audits, and process improvements, with a strong focus on data protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, and enforce data protection programs in line with GDPR and local data privacy laws.
• Maintain and update compliance documentation, policies, and procedures for data protection, HSE, and ESG.
• Ensure HSE compliance across APAC offices and support ESG initiatives, including reporting and awareness campaigns.
• Liaise with internal teams and external auditors for compliance audits and operational matters.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on data privacy, HSE, and ESG best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, IT, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Mandatory: Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO), CIPP/E, or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years’ experience in compliance, data protection, HSE, or ESG functions.
• Knowledge of local and international data privacy, HSE, and ESG regulations.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
