Job Title: Mechanical Fitter – Tissue Paper Industry

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment used in tissue paper production. The role ensures smooth machine operation, reduces downtime, and supports continuous production efficiency.

Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing (tissue/paper industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and alignment techniques
• Ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and lifting equipment
• Good troubleshooting and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and align mechanical components and tissue production machinery
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and conveyors
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs promptly
• Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure proper lubrication
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures
• Maintain maintenance logs and report recurring issues
