Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze Sp. z o. o. (PZL Mielec) is one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in Poland. For almost 90 years, the factory have been designing, producing and servicing aircraft and helicopters for whole world. PZL Mielec's flagship products are the multi-role helicopter S-70 Black Hawk and the M28 aircraft in civilian and military versions.

Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze is one of the largest employers in Podkarpacie voivodeship. It is also the "Podkarpacie Company of the 20th Anniversary of the 21st Century" according to the ranking of the "Golden Hundred Companies of Podkarpacie" and a winner of the Top Employers of Eastern Poland plebiscite. Currently, the company employs over 1,680 people, including highly qualified engineering, technical and production staff valued internationally, especially for high quality and on time deliveries. One of the company's priorities is occupational hygiene and safety and care for the natural environment. Meeting high occupational hygiene and safety standards, the company became a nationwide winner of the Golden Card of the Safe Work Leader.
