Client Description:

Adecco is supporting an international client from the pharmaceutical industry in the recruitment of an experienced PMO Manager in Prague. The role is part of CLS Business Solutions International and supports priority strategic programs delivered across functions and markets. The PMO Manager will translate business needs into clear plans, deliverables and outcomes while ensuring robust governance, structured execution and visibility across the full program lifecycle.

This role is ideal for an experienced PMO professional who has supported large, complex programs and can coordinate cross-functional teams, manage senior stakeholders and ensure effective delivery in waterfall, Agile or hybrid environments.

Candidate Profile:

  • At least five years of experience supporting large, complex programs end-to-end.
  • Experience gained in a consulting, transformation or cross-market environment.
  • Commercial and/or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong program management and PMO skills, including planning, RAID management, reporting, governance and structured delivery.
  • Experience working in waterfall, Agile or hybrid delivery environments, mostly with virtual teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and SAFe delivery environments.
  • Experience working with business squad, product and IT delivery models.
  • Proficiency in PMO tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across diverse functions and manage senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in science, engineering, business administration or economics.
  • Exposure to multi-market rollout programs or enterprise governance frameworks would be an advantage.
  • Certifications or further qualifications in Program Management, Project Management, Agile and/or Product Management would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Program Design & Delivery

  • Scope, design and structure priority programs, translating business needs into clear plans, deliverables and outcomes.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional and cross-market teams to deliver strategic initiatives through robust execution.
  • Maintain the Integrated Master Plan, ensuring visibility of milestones, dependencies, release timelines and rollout activities.


Governance & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Define and embed program governance, including leadership forums, workstream reviews and decision-making criteria.
  • Coordinate program calendars and agendas, prepare pre-read materials and track follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate across diverse functions and manage senior stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle.


Risk, Issues & Dependencies

  • Manage RAID and risk frameworks across the program.
  • Drive proactive risk management and issue resolution.
  • Ensure effective dependency management across teams and workstreams.


Market Readiness & Rollout

  • Track market readiness and rollout progress across all key checkpoints.
  • Monitor testing, data migration and deployment preparation activities.
  • Work closely with program leads, change leads and communication leads to support rollout readiness.


Reporting & Insights

  • Provide high-quality reporting and program insights through dashboards, KPIs and status updates.
  • Ensure leadership teams have clear visibility of progress, risks, issues, dependencies and upcoming decisions.
