Manager SQA

Client Description:

Candidate Profile:

• At least 8 years of experience in software testing (in business areas other than mobile apps or gaming).
• At least 5 years of experience in a Test Lead role.
• Experience leading multi-locations and remote teams.
• Good understanding of software project life cycle.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance (Agile) processes and methodologies.
• Good familiarity with Linux OS.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Familiarity with JIRA, JIRA XRAY or similar test management tools.
• Good command of spoken and written English (at least B2).
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Graduated from technical university.
• Experience with test automation.
• Understanding of large on-line transaction processing systems.
• ISTQB certificate in software testing.
• Experience with Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation and analysis of modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products.
• Own the quality strategy, review functional/design specifications, and prepare test plans.
• Develops and/or executes testing according to project plans and priorities. 
• Lead automation initiatives.
• Mentor others (new hires).
• Test reporting and defect management.
• Participate in development of test data strategy and preparation of data.
