Industrial Engineer (Greenfield Project)

Client Description:
An American technology and engineering company in the greenfield segment, specializing in advanced cooling systems and thermal energy management for critical infrastructure. The company designs and manufactures high‑performance heat exchangers as well as custom, scalable cooling systems for industries with exceptionally high energy demand, such as data centers, power generation, renewable energy, and the process industry.
Candidate Profile:
- Analyze and optimize the physical layout of the production floor to improve workflow, reduce material handling, and increase overall efficiency
- Design and implement streamlined process flows to eliminate bottlenecks and improve cycle times across production stages
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and industry best practices to enhance operational performance
- Assess current production capacity and recommend layout changes, equipment upgrades, or process improvements to support future growth and demand changes
- Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure new product designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and compatible with optimized production layouts
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify production inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Monitor and improve equipment utilization, including planning and integrating new equipment to improve flow and minimize downtime
- Develop and maintain process documentation, layouts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manufacturing standards
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives related to layout, equipment utilization, and material handling while maintaining high quality standards
- Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues related to product flow, equipment functionality, and process performance
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing optimization, preferably in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of process layout optimization, workflow management, and production systems design
- Experience using CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools for layout and process flow design
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve inefficiencies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
