About the Role:

As a MIG/TIG Welder, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality welds on a variety of metal components, ensuring every project meets strict engineering and safety standards. You’ll work closely with a supportive production team, contributing to projects that make a real impact in the industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on diverse metal components with precision and accuracy.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to deliver exact specifications.
  • Uphold rigorous quality and safety standards throughout all welding processes.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure peak performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings confidently.
  • Solid understanding of different metals and welding techniques.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety practices in the workshop.
  • Relevant certifications (NZ Certificate in Engineering – Fabrication Level 4 or equivalent is highly advantageous).
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
