About the role

We are seeking EWRB-registered Electricians to carry out commercial electrical work across a range of projects in Christchurch. This role is suited to electricians with solid experience in commercial environments who take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism on site.

You’ll be involved in installation, maintenance, and fault-finding work across commercial buildings, working alongside project managers, site supervisors, and other trades.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
• Carry out testing, fault-finding, and commissioning
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Install lighting, power, data, and associated systems
• Ensure all work complies with NZ electrical regulations and safety standards
• Liaise with site teams to deliver projects on time
• Complete job documentation and reports
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment

Skills & experience

• Current EWRB registration with a practising licence
• Proven experience in commercial electrical work
• Strong fault-finding and testing skills
• Ability to work from plans and technical drawings
• High standard of workmanship and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional communication and site conduct
