Business Development Manager Accounting

Auckland Multi Branch Role

Our client is a well established multi branch accounting and advisory firm seeking a senior Business Development Manager to drive group wide client acquisition and revenue growth.

This is a hands on execution focused role suited to an experienced BDM from an accounting or advisory environment. You will own the full sales cycle from lead generation to conversion, working closely with Branch Managers, Senior Accountants, and the Head Office Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new SME accounting and advisory clients across multiple branches
  • Own and manage a live sales pipeline with clear conversion targets
  • Partner with Branch Managers to support branch growth plans
  • Convert inbound leads from marketing campaigns and referrals
  • Build referral relationships with lawyers, bankers, and business advisors
  • Support pricing, proposals, and high quality client onboarding

About You

  • 10 plus years experience in business development or professional services sales
  • Background in accounting, advisory, finance, or legal services
  • Proven ability to consistently close SME clients
  • Commercial, data driven, and highly organised
  • Confident communicator comfortable working to revenue targets
