About the Role:
To effectively manage the Accounts Payable function for the business whilst supporting the Accounts
Payable Lead in the execution and delivery of the team plan which is part of the wider Finance business
plan.
The Account Payable Officer is accountable for compliance with all aspects of performance objectives
for the financial year, supporting the Finance team in the delivery of performance objectives and
maintaining integrity of information. The role will also include additional administrative duties to
support the wider team.
Must have Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable invoices and data entry
- Dealing with supplier enquiries on accounts payable invoices.
- Processing of foreign currency supplier invoices
- Preparing and processing payments of domestic and foreign invoices on an ad-hoc, weekly and monthly basis.
- Reviewing and lodging actions to clear GRNI (Good Received Not Invoiced) entries to maintain an age of less than 3 months.
- Create and maintain Vendor master data
- Provide support to other accounting roles specifically Accounts Payable during absences
- Assist with data entry where peaks in workloads require extra support
- Provide admin support to other teams outside of the Finance team when required
- efficiency in the delivery of accounts payable information.
- Perform any other duties reasonably required by the Employer consistent with the position.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively and competently with people at all levels in the organisation
- Effective time management and strong organisational skills.
- Deadline driven and proactive approach to your work
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting processes as they relate to business.
