Vulnerability Management and Threat Hunting Manager

For a well established organization operating across Asia, we are seeking a Vulnerability Management and Threat Hunting Manager  to strengthen their security posture of complex Cloud and On-Prem environments. In this role, you will focus on identifying security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities across infrastructure, networks, systems, applications, and related components. You will collaborate with regional stakeholders, Security Metrics teams, and patching teams to ensure vulnerabilities are accurately reported, prioritized, and remediated within required SLAs. What Will You Do?

  • Identify security risks, threats and vulnerabilities across Cloud and On-Prem infrastructure, network, system, applications and related components, ensuring appropriate visibility and follow-up.
  • Work with the Security Metrics team so Vulnerability Management and Compliance reporting remains accurate, with minimal false positives and reliable data for decision-making.
  • Provide timely and actionable threat insights to relevant teams to drive rapid remediation or control reassurance actions against the latest emerging threats.
  • Develop, maintain, and update the associated procedures and processes documentation that supports ongoing Threat & Vulnerability Management activities and governance.
  • Work closely with Regional Business teams to drive remediation activities, ensure risk mitigation, and collaborate with the patching team to remediate vulnerabilities within required SLAs.


Your Skills

  • At least 5 years of technical experience in Vulnerability Management, including asset management and use of vulnerability tools such as Qualys and tenable, with a focus on security baseline development and compliance.
  • Experience with common cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS Controls, and administration of baseline configuration scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus).
  • Ability to define, implement and manage security baseline configurations, supported by knowledge of security vulnerabilities and security baseline configuration practices across enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience in Vulnerability Management tools, including a minimum 2 years of practical use and knowledge of VM tools such as QualysGuard and Nessus for scanning and reporting.
  • Programming skills such as python, plus basic programming and knowledge such as python, API, macros in excel, with any additional scripting languages considered as added value.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI fundamentals, basic DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), data connectivity, and excel proficiency to support security metrics and dashboards.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems, with IT Security Operations Management experience considered an advantage for this position.
