Security Threat Analyst

Seeking a Security Threat Analyst based in Kuala Lumpur. The candidate is essential in strengthening an intelligence-driven security environment by supplying accurate, timely, and actionable cyber threat insights to support SOC analysts, incident responders, engineers, and other key staff members.

What Will you do ?

• Continuously track and investigate new cyber threats, including malware and vulnerabilities, and evaluate their potential organisational impact.
• Manage and integrate intelligence from various internal and external sources, analysing reports and feeds to convert them into actionable insights.
• Support incident response and threat hunting through intelligence analysis, threat modelling, and mitigation recommendations.
• Convert technical threat findings into clear business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences, highlighting risks and control gaps.

Skills

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in CTI, SOC, incident response, or related cybersecurity roles.
• Professional cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
• Practical experience with tools like SIEM, Threat Intelligence Platforms, vulnerability management solutions, and analytics tools.
