Administrator - Claims Services
Our client is a global professional services organisation specialising in risk, insurance, and reinsurance solutions, with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific. Its regional business services team supports international markets through structured, high-quality operational and administrative services, offering exposure to regional insurance operations in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify aged reinsurance recovery claims, including historical email exchanges and documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, cedants, reinsurers, and internal teams to confirm settlement statuses.
- Reconcile statements of claims received from reinsurers, clients, and cedants.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding claims with (re)insurers through emails, phone calls, and meetings, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Assist in compiling supporting documents required by the market while maintaining accurate records and documentation for all claim activities.
- Prepare weekly claims statistics reports to track claim movements.
- Support key tasks for the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Less than 2 years of experience
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Background or exposure in:
- Insurance / Reinsurance
- Claims or Policy Administration
- Actuarial
- Accounting / Finance / Data-related roles
Skills & Requirements
- Professional English proficiency (written and spoken) – must-have
- Mandarin is an advantage
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable handling data
- Efficient, productive, and able to follow up independently
- Willing to handle operational and administrative work
Additional Information
- Interview process: 1 round only
- Notice period: 1 month is acceptable
- Work arrangement: 3 days in office per week
- Exposure to Hong Kong reinsurance market
