Position Overview
The company is seeking a Senior Product & Business Development Manager – Safety Business to drive sustainable growth of its safety portfolio in Korea. This role combines product management ownership with business development leadership, focusing on product lifecycle management, market expansion, and strategic business initiatives aligned with global and regional strategies. The position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, and global headquarters to ensure successful go-to-market execution and long-term business growth.
Main Responsibilities
1. Product Management (Safety Business)
- Manage the full product lifecycle of safety business products, including launch, performance monitoring, and phase-out
- Define pricing, positioning, and product strategies in alignment with global and regional headquarters
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, risks, and market trends
- Coordinate with Quality & Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
- Develop localized marketing materials, product documentation, and training content for internal sales teams
2. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across strategic accounts, channels, and emerging market segments
- Expanding the customer base through proactive market development and relationship building
- Lead or support tender processes and key account negotiations to maximize win rates
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, solutions, and services
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to localize business development initiatives
3. Sales & Marketing Support
- Work closely with the sales team to drive pipeline growth and support achievement of annual targets
- Provide product training and sales enablement tools to enhance sales effectiveness
- Support local exhibitions, conferences, and marketing events to strengthen brand presence
- Collect and analyze customer feedback, translating insights into product and service improvements
4. Sales Excellence & Performance Management
- Drive adoption and effective use of CRM and sales tools to ensure accurate pipeline visibility
- Support implementation of sales processes and best practices to improve efficiency and customer focus
- Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify performance gaps and recommend improvement actions
- Ensure alignment with regional and global standards for reporting and sales excellence initiatives
An Ideal Candidate:
Required Qualifications
Education
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
· MBA or equivalent is a plus
Experience
· 10+ years of professional experience in product management, business development, or sales/marketing
· Experience in safety equipment, industrial solutions, manufacturing, or related industries preferred
· Leadership experience (formal or informal) strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
· Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and channel/partner management
· Experience with tendering, contract negotiations, and enterprise or public-sector customers preferred
· Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
· Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, QRA, Service, Finance, and global teams
· Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
· Data-driven mindset with hands-on CRM experience
· Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written)
