About Company:
A global technology solutions provider supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing is seeking a senior-level engineering leader to strengthen its presence at key customer fabrication sites. This role sits at the intersection of customer engagement, technology adoption, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong emphasis on execution excellence and long-term strategic impact.
Key Competencies:
- Lead and oversee a regional team of process technology and equipment service engineers supporting advanced thin‑film deposition technologies at customer fabrication facilities.
- Ensure reliable delivery and sustained performance of materials and equipment solutions, including maintenance activities, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the technical interface to customers by translating device, process, and integration requirements into clearly defined problem statements and actionable solution strategies.
- Drive customer adoption of new technologies from early qualification through high‑volume manufacturing, aligning technical execution with commercial objectives.
- Develop and maintain forward‑looking customer roadmaps by identifying emerging application needs, future technology nodes, and new product introduction opportunities.
- Partner with internal R&D, product development, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to influence solution design, prioritization, and execution timelines.
- Guide the preparation and delivery of comprehensive technical solution packages, and lead regular technical discussions and review meetings with customers.
- Build a high‑performing team by mentoring engineers, expanding technical depth in deposition technologies, and encouraging collaboration across adjacent engineering disciplines.
- Contribute to strategic planning by assessing competitive positioning, defining success criteria, and aligning team activities with short‑ and long‑term business goals.
An Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline such as chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry, or a related field; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- Extensive industry experience (typically 10+ years) in semiconductor manufacturing or related supplier environments, with a strong background in deposition processes such as CVD or ALD.
- Hands‑on familiarity with precursor materials, delivery systems, and process integration within advanced fabrication environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and develop highly skilled engineering teams while setting clear expectations and driving accountability.
- Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous technical challenges through structured problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Strong customer engagement skills, with the credibility to build long‑term partnerships through technical insight and value‑based problem solving.
- Strategic mindset with solid business acumen, capable of balancing near‑term execution with longer‑term technology and customer objectives.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; additional language capability is advantageous.
- High level of adaptability, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning in fast‑evolving technology environments.
- Comfortable working with standard productivity tools and digital collaboration platforms.
