Position Overview

The Senior Account Manager, Data Consultancy is responsible for managing and growing key data consultancy client relationships in Korea. This role leads to day-to-day client engagement while overseeing the delivery of data consultancy projects, ensuring strategic alignment, high-quality execution, and strong stakeholder communication. The position requires the ability to manage complex accounts, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate client business objectives into actionable data-driven strategies.

Key Competencies:

Main Responsibilities


1. Client & Project Leadership

  • Act as the primary client lead, providing strategic points of view and recommendations
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships at all levels, including senior stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal teams across departments and regions to ensure smooth, high-quality project delivery
  • Translate client briefs and business objectives into structured data strategies with actionable KPIs
  • Oversee technical data consultancy projects, including advanced analytics, business intelligence, Martech, and data science
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders on progress, strategy adjustments, and outcomes
  • Manage all project documentation, ensuring plans and process documents are up to date
  • Visit client offices when required

2. Revenue Growth & Account Expansion

  • Lead or support new business pitches when required
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Build proposals, define scope, and structure commercial terms for new initiatives
  • Manage client retention while identifying opportunities to expand the relationship
  • Stay informed on internal channel and product updates and communicate relevant developments to clients
  • Support the development and rollout of local and regional data consultancy offerings

3. Internal Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Collaborate closely with data, technology, and consultancy specialists across the organization
  • Support the adoption and sharing of Data Consultancy knowledge at a regional level


An Ideal Candidate:

Required Qualifications

 

·        5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on data-related roles

 

·        Fluent in both Korean and English (verbal and written)

 

·        Strong communication and project management skills

 

·        Proven experience managing data consultancy or data-driven projects

 

·        Solid understanding of digital channels and data platforms

(e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Cloud, Tableau, Paid Media)

 

·        Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders in Korea

 

·        Confident and professional client-facing capability

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

·        Experience working closely with developers and technical specialists

 

·        Background in analytics, BI, Martech, or data consultancy environments
