Job Summary
The Regional Director (Senior Director) will be responsible for leading and scaling a high-performing regional sales organization, driving commercial excellence and delivering strong revenue growth across the region. This role owns the regional P&L and is accountable for achieving revenue, new business, and profitability targets in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
The role will focus on strengthening strategic client relationships, enhancing customer experience, and building a proactive, commercially driven sales culture. The successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming the organization through capability development, new client acquisition, and the successful activation of innovative programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & New Business Development
- Own and deliver regional revenue and profitability targets in line with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Drive new business growth by building a strong sales pipeline, identifying high-potential opportunities, and converting them into long-term client partnerships.
- Ensure consistent financial performance and sustainable growth across the region.
Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Establish and maintain senior-level relationships with key regional clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary escalation point.
- Lead initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty, using Net Promoter Score (NPS) insights to continuously improve the client experience.
- Strengthen long-term client retention through value-based engagement and solution-oriented selling.
Sales Strategy & Commercial Excellence
- Build and embed a strong commercial mindset across the region, transitioning the sales organization toward a proactive, consultative selling model.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies that anticipate market trends and evolving customer needs.
- Drive commercial activation of new services, programs, and solutions to support revenue growth and market relevance.
Commercial Capability Development
- Lead the development of regional commercial capabilities, including the design and launch of structured sales enablement initiatives (e.g., commercial academies).
- Upskill sales teams to improve effectiveness in new client acquisition, cross-selling, and market expansion.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Program Activation & Innovation
- Partner closely with product, marketing, and cross-functional teams to commercialize new programs, services, and innovations across the region.
- Ensure new offerings are aligned with customer needs and market demands to drive adoption and revenue impact.
- Track performance of new initiatives and optimize go-to-market execution.
An Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in a regional role (APAC preferred).
- Background within the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) sector is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in water-related standards and services.
- Proven track record of P&L ownership, delivering revenue growth, and expanding new business at a regional or global level.
- Strong experience managing strategic B2B client relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
- Extensive experience leading sales organizations and embedding a strong commercial mindset.
- Solid understanding of technical, regulatory, or TIC services and their regional market applications.
