Role Summary

For a dynamic role in the marketing department, we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our client's team in Korea. This position involves creating demand for services through offline and digital marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will identify new customers to drive revenue growth, collaborating closely with various stakeholders. The role requires a results-driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for commercial activities, and the ability to work under pressure. The Marketing Specialist will report to the Area Commercial Leader/Marketing Supervisor and will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:


Marketing & Event Coordination

  • Collaborate with product/application teams, marketing, and sales to plan and deliver offline conferences, exhibitions, and customer engagement events.
  • Oversee the development, design, and timely completion of marketing materials, including brochures, invitations, newsletters, posters, and video content.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry associations and media partners to enhance brand exposure.

Digital Marketing & Content Execution

  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, content creation, email marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Support marketing campaign preparation and execution across digital, print, and SNS platforms in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing channels by collecting and analyzing performance and engagement data.

Lead Generation & Opportunity Development

  • Conduct online research to identify prospective clients and uncover potential business opportunities.
  • Manage inbound leads and customer enquiries, conduct initial qualification, and assign leads to the appropriate sales representatives.
  • Utilize CRM tools to ensure all customer and lead data is accurate, updated, and leveraged to provide valuable insights for the sales team.

Sales Support & Performance Analytics

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, marketing ROI, and market intelligence to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Assist sales teams with detailed analysis and strategic mapping of key accounts to identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Support tender submissions via Nara Jangteo and maintain updated competitor information using bidding platforms.

An Ideal Candidate:

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Preferably 4–5 years of commercial experience; however, high‑potential fresh graduates may also be considered.
  • Experience in inside sales or digital marketing is advantageous.
  • Understanding of the Korean life science market is a strong asset; experience within the NGS industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, along with familiarity in digital marketing and other marketing automation tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, effective problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and strong multitasking capability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
  • Hands‑on experience in conference or event coordination.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and perform in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience using graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is an advantage.
