Role Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy and execution for the Livestock Business Unit. This role oversees the development of marketing plans, campaign execution, demand creation activities, and cross‑functional collaboration to support commercial priorities. The position also manages a team of marketing professionals and plays a key role in driving business growth, product positioning, and customer engagement.

1) Ethical & Professional Standards

2) Strategy & Planning
· Lead the development of annual and quarterly marketing strategies for core and focus products.
· Partner closely with the Business Unit Director to shape long‑term marketing direction.
· Create integrated online/offline customer engagement plans and ensure alignment with sales and technical teams.
· Manage regular forecasting activities (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) and support strategic planning initiatives.
· Review promotional plans and translate them into accurate sales forecasts, considering seasonality and market dynamics.
· Conduct monthly forecasting meetings with the demand planning team.
· Propose and manage product pricing strategies that maximize value and profitability.
· Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product portfolios, competitors, market trends, pricing, and industry dynamics.
· Collect insights through market data, customer visits, field feedback, research, and industry networks to guide commercial decisions.
3) Marketing Campaigns & Demand Generation
· Lead marketing campaigns to achieve impactful product positioning, market share growth, and commercial outcomes.
· Focus on optimizing the customer journey and ensuring effective messaging across all touchpoints.
· Collaborate with sales teams to ensure marketing assets, events, and PR initiatives support product objectives.
· Ensure marketing materials align with solution‑based selling frameworks.
· Coordinate with Area Business Managers, technical teams, and training leads to ensure the field force has appropriate training and tools.
· Conduct regular customer visits to gather actionable insights for marketing refinement.
4) Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
· Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize product performance.
· Collaborate with regional/global marketing teams to share best practices and leverage global resources.
· Engage with industry networks and key influencers to introduce innovative ideas.
· Support global product teams in shaping lifecycle strategies.
· Create cross‑functional working groups to strengthen knowledge sharing and execution excellence.
5) People Leadership
· Provide clear guidance, direction, and expectations to the marketing team.
· Manage day‑to‑day performance and lead formal talent processes such as development planning, coaching, and succession planning.
· Lead the team effectively through organizational changes and act as a strong promoter of continuous improvement.
· Support capability-building initiatives and foster a coaching‑driven culture.
· Cultivate collaboration across teams and ensure alignment with organizational values.
6) Financial & Compliance Management
· Deliver accurate financial forecasts and maintain tight control over the marketing budget.
· Ensure adherence to expense policies and compliance standards.
· Maintain accurate financial documentation and share relevant information with stakeholders.
· Comply with all regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and company policies.
7) Communication
· Provide regular market updates and forecasting reports to the Business Unit Director.
· Escalate urgent or critical issues promptly with recommended solutions.
· Respond to marketing-related inquiries from sales teams in a timely and effective manner.
An Ideal Candidate:
Key Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or higher.
· Minimum 7 years of experience in sales and marketing within multinational organizations.
· Direct experience managing P&L or equivalent business responsibility.
· Native Korean speaker with excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
· Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
· Solid understanding of animal health products, livestock customers, and related markets.
· Broad business acumen across sales, finance, operations, and HR.
· Demonstrated leadership abilities and team‑management experience.
· Established industry networks preferred.
