The MarCom Specialist (Korea) plays a key role as Local MarCom in supporting Company’s global, regional, and local marketing communication strategies by developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for the Korean market.

Another part of this role is serving as a Technical Content Creator, capable of transforming complex technical information into clear, engaging, and audience-relevant stories. This includes creating articles, case studies, and application features that highlight real-world use cases, industry insights, and innovative applications of Company’s products and solutions.

The position works in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven planning, cohesive messaging, and consistent brand expression across all communication channels — ultimately enhancing brand visibility, campaign effectiveness, and measurable business impact.


Key Competencies:

Local Market Communications

  • Deliver APAC and Korea Marketing Communications objectives (OKRs/KPIs) within defined timelines and budget.
  • Develop and execute integrated local marketing communication plans to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and strengthen market presence in Korea.
  • Ensure consistent application of global brand standards across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Analyze and map the local customer buying journey to identify and optimize key communication touchpoints.
  • Lead and manage local social media, public relations, and media activities, including identifying and evaluating advertising opportunities.
  • Plan and execute local marketing events such as webinars, seminars, exhibitions, and virtual engagements.
  • Support the implementation of APAC Digital Marketing Communication initiatives, including website management, eDM, SEO/SEA, display ads, social media, and video advertising.
  • Monitor market and competitor trends to identify new opportunities and reinforce leadership positioning.
  • Track, report, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities using relevant metrics and analytics.


Technical Content Creation

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content tailored to industry professionals and end users.
  • Collaborate with Sales and customers to develop success stories, testimonials, and interviews.
  • Produce application-driven content such as case studies, solution briefs, blog posts, and industry trend articles in partnership with marketing and technical teams.
  • Create compelling technical marketing materials including website landing pages, ebooks, brochures, guides, presentations, and video tutorials.
  • Conduct interviews with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather insights and customer perspectives.
  • Ensure all content maintains technical accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand voice and messaging.


Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.


An Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in communications and marketing within the B2B technology sector
  • Proven track record in designing and executing successful marketing campaigns
  • Prior experience in a multinational corporation or international organization preferred
  • Exceptional technical writing and communication skills, with a passion for translating complex information into engaging content
  • Strong capabilities in media relations, social media strategy, and public relations
  • Experience in digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strategic marketing mindset
  • Fluent in English and Korean; working knowledge of Japanese or Chinese is an advantage
  • Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills, especially within multi-cultural teams
